Normal timers switch music on or off at certain times of the day. trivum systems allow 2 such timers per zone. For outdoor areas and children's rooms in particular, however, it may also be necessary to switch off areas or limit the volume at certain times. This is made possible with advanced timers.

What problem do Advanced Timers solve?

Normal timers switch music on at certain times on certain days and sometimes switch it off again. trivum Multiroom systems allow 2 such timers per zone.

Especially for outdoor areas and children's rooms, however, it may also be necessary to switch off areas at certain times, leave them switched off or limit the volume.

  1. Children's room

    If children/young people are to study or sleep at certain times, for example, a trivum system can force the zones in these areas to be switched off at certain times. And later in the evening, the volume can be limited so as not to disturb other people who may be asleep.

  2. Outdoor areas

    Here in particular, it is necessary to automatically lower the volume in the outdoor areas after a certain time or to safely switch off the music because of the neighbors. In this way, forgotten music in the garden can no longer disturb the neighbors.

How does trivum implement Advanced Timer?

trivum uses 2 Advanced Timers per zone. We call them
  • Afternoon Quiet Time
  • Nightly Quiet Time

The 2 timers allow you to limit the volume for a certain period of time, switch the zone off once or force the zone to be switched off during this period.
