When making announcements, you often speak the same texts through the microphone. It would be more convenient to have these announcements prepared. TextToSpeech enables the direct dubbing of an entered text as a generated audio file. This can then be used in pagings as required.

What problem does text to speech solve?

The same texts are often used for announcements. A microphone is often not necessary for this. A recording of the text, which is then played back by a streaming client, solves the problem. This allows several different texts to be triggered by trivum actions.

TextToSpeech replaces the recording of speech with a microphone. By simply entering a text, the trivum Multiroom System automatically converts the text into an audio file. This audio file can then be used in pagings as required.

How does trivum implement text to speech?

The conversion of text into an audio file is offered within the configuration of a paging. When selecting the source for a paging, select "Streaming". There is a list of audio files, but also the option to create a new audio file using Text2Speech. The generated audio file can then be used for further pagings.

Advantages of text to speech

The simple and fast conversion of text input to audio files makes it easy to use different texts.
