Live demo
Do you want to see if everything is as described right now? Then try it out right now with our demo systems that we have at trivum in Stuttgart. It is an SC044 SoundSystem running t3OS V9, the same operating system as on an RP341. Or visit our demo area!
- Use the WebApp to control the music
- Configure a real trivum SoundSystem
- Control KNX with the WebControl app on a real trivum SoundSystem
Example: Music for 3 rooms
The example shows what a trivum multiroom audio solution can look like. The RP341, connected to the local network (LAN) via the Cat-5 Ethernet cable, plays music in the living room, bedroom and children's room. Two of the four stereo speaker outputs are used for the living room. This provides sufficient performance and at the same time the living room can be divided into two zones if required. Music can also be played via the external stereo system on the RP341's line-out output. If you want to use other audio sources, you can connect them to the line-in input of the RP341 (additional devices/adapters may be required for this). In this way, the music from the record player can be played in one, several or all zones in this example. The trivum Multiroom System is controlled via the trivum TouchPads and the free trivum app.
KNX for music control
The trivum SoundSystems can be fully integrated into a KNX system via a KNX/IP router.
For example, you can also use KNX push-buttons from JUNG, GIRA, etc. to control your trivum Multiroom system. And without any great effort or even expensive KNX software, because: all trivum SoundSystems can be configured and parameterized via the built-in web server.
All you need is a browser-enabled device and a functioning KNX system.
Change the volume with a KNX rotary control, select the sources step by step or directly with a KNX button, or display status information such as title and artist on a KNX display. Use the trivum KNX events to link individual KNX group addresses with trivum actions that are to be executed within a zone.
You can try all this out right away! Look under "Live Demo" at the top of the menu.
