The trivum user interface supplies many functions to select and control music.

But if you have a KNX installation you may, for example, control your lights as well. This can be solved by defining control objects in the trivum Home Control interface.

It is a separate area (pages) of the trivum user interface. Once objects are defined, an extra button appears at the right top to switch between music selection and the Home Control pages.

You can control your KNX devices directly from the trivum user interface, without the need for additional software.

In the Setup, go to: Setup Home Control. Then start adding objects, like KNX light switches, dimmers, RGB, shutter/blind, climate, fancoil, value displays, or scenes. In each object, you define KNX group addresses over which these communicate.

trivum Home Control is a convenient addition to your existing KNX installation, but you should not rely on it alone, especially for important functions.

For example, if you enter a room, you should always be able to switch on the lights by hard keys in the wall, independent from trivum, in case your mobile has no WLAN connection to the trivum system.
