URC (Universal Remote Control) is an American manufacturer of automation solutions.
An URC installation integrates devices from many different companies.

With the trivum Control4 Interface there is an alternative interface to automation solutions based on Control4.

With the trivum RTI Interface there is an alternative interface to automation solutions based on RTI.

1.2. What problem does the URC Interface solve?

It allows you to use e.g. your URC remote control to start music in your living room. The URC driver adds your trivum system to the URC menu with the option to control status of the music in a zone.

1.3. How does trivum implement the URC Interface?

The URC driver is integrated in the URC Accelerator 3 software.

1.4. How can you customize the URC Interface?

There are not many options available. This is an advantage of URC installations, because all the different controlled systems represents theirselves in the same UI style.
